This year¹s kite aerial photography (KAP) booth will feature the images and apparatus of several Bay Area KAPers including: Cris Benton, the Berkeley author of MAKE¹s original KAP article and moderator of the KAP Discussion Page. Elaine and Don Dvorak, who have been photographing Easter Island¹s Moai and local wetlands with video-assisted camera cradles. Brooks Leffler, a Pacific Grove based master builder of the only commercially available KAP cradles and editor of the influential Aerial Eye quarterly. Sharon Kato, a relative newcomer who brings fresh eyes to the Bay Area KAP scene. ... and most likely a few others as well.
