TechShop is a public workshop on the San Francisco peninsula that provides its members with training and use of tools and equipment including milling machines and lathes, a 3D printer, welding equipment, sheet metal equipment, laser cutters, CNC mills, plastics equipment, a CNC plasma cutter, finishing equipment, and more.
TechShop was founded in 2006 by Jim Newton, a lifetime Maker, veteran BattleBots builder and former MythBuster.
