About the Maker(s)

Eleven years ago four musicians assembled a collection of high energy songs to boost the runners of the annual Santa Cruz Wharf to Wharf Race. What was initially a one gig deal turned into a full fledged band when they ended up on the news and signed on for a half hour television performance. With a stand-up bass made from used motorcycle parts, an artistic drum set with sculpture props, a shredding guitar and a highly theatrical singer, the Lee Maverick Band was off and running.
