Between crafting and making, there lies an exciting intersection of possibility where yarn and fiber can be dyed using passive solar for the dyeing of the fibers. My dyeing process uses home built solar ovens built from recycled and reclaimed wood and glass which will be on display, minimizes water usage and contamination from chemicals.

Kelley is an artist by training, but seems to gravitate to the making side as well, with experience in ceramic glaze chemistry, programming, and geometry. Her latest interest is solar anything, and she has juxtaposed this with her love for textiles to create a unique venture of green technology with textiles to produce a product that is gentle on the eyes and the planet.
