R/C Russian Alfa Class Submarine

This 5-foot, four-channel, radio controlled Russian Alfa Class submarine features an onboard air compressor and original operating systems designed by Mike Wernecke. It has an operating distance of 50+ feet on the surface and 8 feet below freshwater surface.

Submaker Mike is a highly skilled machinebuilder and machinist. Submaker Mike has spent 13 years as a precision machine builder working for the Perkin Elmer /SMG /Solatron companies as a senior builder. He worked on the Human Genome project /Auto industry and optic coating machines. Prior to these the "ole submaker" worked on several movies as a model builder. Happy ole Mike worked on "Con-Air" "Godzilla" and other features. Many years ago Mike worked hard to earn a Masters degree in Art as a sculptor. Mike has spent a lifetime as a model builder /designer.
