Justin Gray
Justin Gray has over 16 years of experience in metal fabrication and has run a successful fabrication business for the last 10 years. He has worked with many mediums of fabrication, specifically in commissioned sculpture, furniture, and home installations, all of which contribute to his explorations in the world of fire sculpture. His sculptures attempt to merge the realm of functionality with his unique artistic sensibilities to create bold pieces that range from being the centerpiece of their environments to more subtle accents of industrial beauty. Over the last nine years, Justin has created fire sculptures ranging from the Burning Man experimental fire art to finely honed performance-based fire sculptures shown in high profile events all over the world. Most of his work is based around the blast furnace large-scale fire art, but he is not limited to that style. His most recent creation merges hi-tech robotics with jet engine fire sculpture on a heavy steel track drive base. In relation to Therm, Justin has played a key role in organizing Therm events behind the scenes and out with the audience.
