After studying drawing, painting and graphic design at the University of North Texas, Candace Candy Marquette decided that it was time to venture out and start her own small design business. One day she envisioned creating a cool fashionable purse that she had never seen created or manufactured and an idea blossomed. People started noticing her original one-of-a-kind creations and wanted to know where she bought them. A year passed and Candace decided to pursue another venture- jewelry making. Before she knew it, her venture was evolving into a full time hobby. Everywhere she went, people wanted to buy her jewelry and purses right off of her. At that point Candace realized that others were as excited about wearing her artistic creations as she was making them.
