Texas Heat: Team CM Robotics

Texas Heat is armored in military grade Titanium, with a six foot flamethrower that roasts opponents. An onboard Texas Instruments MSP430 processor carefully controls the valve sequencing with millisecond timing to achieve the precise fuel to air ratio required for ignition. Custom electronics by Nuvation use TI High Performance Analog to generate the different power needed for the digital electronics, valves and igniter. Fuel is a propane/butane mix that is optimized for highest heat and luminance. Texas Heat can drive inverted on its solid rubber wheels, with 4 direct drive motors and a wedge on both the front and rear.
