Sustainable Pumpkin Patch - More than 200 kids will paint organic edible, local pie pumpkins, and then receive recipes to take home so that they can actually MAKE something out of their pumpkin.

Austin Farmers' Market / SFC booth - Displays of SFC's three main programs: Farm Direct - Austin Farmers' Market; Grow Local - gardening; and The Happy Kitchen - cooking classes and nutrition.

Suzanne Santos With SFC for 9 yrs, she is cultivating a strong local food system. Since 2003, she has directed the Austin Farmers' Market: twice-weekly, farmers, ranchers, artisans and more come together to create a community around food.
