Collin grew up experimenting and playing in suburban Connecticut. After taking first prize in his middle school's invention convention, he eventually earned a BFA in video art from the Hartford Art School. Upon completing Make magazine's Crackerbox amp and Brain Machine projects, Collin's love for experimentation and invention was revitalized.
