Glass and Recycled Paper Bead Making

Bead making dates back to the stone age. Glass and recycled paper beads are modern expressions of the art of bead making. Experience beads of molten glass formed with tools and fire along with the bead that leaves nothing behind, the ultimate in recycling: the paper bead.

About the Maker(s)

Tracy Dubcak Crystal Tinsel [
Beads have always fascinated me. As a child, I formed simple beads of dirt and paper. Now, I form beads from glass, paper and anything else I can recycle. I use a bobcat torch to make beautiful glass beads and have developed a special technique to make unique durable recycled paper beads that I have taught to missionaries to Bolivia, Honduras and at an orphanage in Mexico.
