Walter Ehresman has been an Austin musician for 28 years, and has released 11 solo albums since 1989, and 3 albums with his band Snipe Hunt from '98-'01. A fierce iconoclast lyrically, and a wild experimentalist musically, Walter generally plays all the instruments himself on his albums: guitars, basses, percussion, keyboards, mandolin, saz, oud, bouzouki, 6-string banjo, rawap, mandola, mandocello, setar, electric sitar, and others. Ehresman has also composed and recorded pieces on the Nevada playa of Burning Man.
