scott swearingen Belaharr
Scott co-founded Belaharr with Brett Weaver and Sonya Taft several years and one extra child ago. Belaharr performs at many Austin venues, including last year's MakerFaire. The group mixes middle eastern, african, and polynesian music and dance. Needless to say, the drums are made by hand, and the dancers make all their own costumes! In addition to drumming, Scott teaches Sociology at St Edward's University and Austin Community College in Austin.
