"Jessica Dunlap enjoys the domestic arts, and strives to make as many items for her family as possible from scratch. She created Rose & Duke when friends and neighbors began asking to purchase the hand-embroidered shirts she was making for her son, Harlan. Inspiration for her designs comes from her love of clothing and linens from the 40's and 50's, as well as classic American tattoos and Japanese cartoons. "
