Maker Faire Austin 2008
Anda Mandala

Come watch animated mandalas and make one of your own. Anda Mandala marries the accessibility and affordability of new digital technology with old-school, hands-on, stop motion techniques. Stop motion creates the illusion of movement by taking pictures at intervals in time as objects change position in space. Sound complicated? It's really very simple, even my 4 year-old can do it. The animations created here will be edited together with an original musical score to produce a short video that will be screened publicly.
