In Guatemala 75% of the population lives below poverty level. The majority of the population lack health care, education, potable water, and electricity. Engineers Without Borders is working with AIDG to develop a small-scale wind turbine that is manufactured in Quetzaltenango and used in remote villages to power small electronics.
