Capitol BEST is one of the 33 current hubs (contest sites) within the BEST Robotics Inc. nonprofit organization. The BEST program began in 1993 with a mere 14 teams in a single North Texas hub. In 2007, BEST Robotics had over 700 schools and 10,000 student participants. The program continues to grow at an astonishing rate.
