About the Maker(s)
Collin Cunningham
Collin grew up experimenting and playing in suburban Connecticut. After taking first prize in his middle school's invention convention, he went on to study a variety of visual art and music eventually acquiring a BFA in video art from the Hartford Art School. With a growing interest in music and songwriting he proceeded to record and compose, touring in a band and paying the bills as a web media specialist. Upon completing MAKE magazine's Cracker Box Amp and Brain Machine projects, Collin's love for experimentation and invention was revitalized. His new focus on electronics and sound synthesis eventually led him to writing for the MAKE Blog (makezine.com), where his project ideas and internet explorations can be seen daily.
