David Blume
David Blume has been at the forefront of small scale alcohol fuel development for 25 years. In the 70's he worked for Mother Earth News on developing their DIY alcohol fuel technology. In the early 80's he taught 180 workshops to 7500 people in alcohol fuel production and use. He wrote and hosted the 10 part 1983 PBS series Alcohol as Fuel. His new book Alcohol Can Be A Gas is the first comprehensive book written on farm scale alcohol production and use in 90 years. He is a frequent speaker at agriculture, appropriate technology, alternative energy, and ecological design conferences all over the globe.
