It's play-time! Stop in at the Stop Motion Theater and be a part of a collaborative movie. Or take a timeout with our favorite pastime, the TimeWindow and make time fly with the TimeController -- experience a year in a minute, or push the button and turn the dial to go back in time and watch the Maker Faire unfold from the start.

Tim Brown
Tim has a PhD in biology and a lifelong interest integrating science, art and new technology for novel uses. Tims graduate work stemmed from a passion for understanding how natural systems solve complex computational problems. For his graduate research Tim video taped army ant swarms in the rainforest in Costa Rica and then manually tracked the paths of tens of thousands of individual ants to learn how these ants organize their massive swarms. The resulting data allowed him build a computer model reproducing army ant swarming patterns.
Tim has served as a technical advisor on an array of video-based projects in both the academic and artistic community. After finishing Graduate School in 2006, Tim co-founded the company TimeScience (http://www.time-science.com). TimeSciences mission is to integrate cutting edge technology into custom, software and hardware solutions facilitating scientific data collection and long-term, high-resolution timelapses.
