Marquetry is the art of creating decorative designs and pictures by skillfully utilizing the grain, figure and colors of thin veneers. We will display completed marquetry and will demonstrate the steps to create marquetry.

"NorCal Marquetarians" is the local chapter of the American Marquetry Society. Approximately 12 colleagues are planned to participate in the show. We are a friendly group of woodworkers from in and around the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to furthering the art of marquetry.
