aka Madame Ovary, the Lady with the Flaubergasting Name, StorySpinner EGGStraordinaire. Librarian (MLS, University of Michigan, 1972), ex-Civil Serpent by choice (Department of Army, 1975-1991). Artist, Crafter - performer and puppeteer since 1978. Creator of "Toys and Tools for Troubled Times" sm (handmade out of reused materials). She has become a favorite Bay Area resource for community groups and organizations seeking kid-friendly Artist-led eco-art which are educational, amusing and amazingly affordable. All projects have a certain ecological flair, use rescued/recycled materials, provide opportunities for creative and aesthetic experimentation and expression. Activities can be created around a theme, or customized to Requestor's needs and preference. Madame Ovary, her Performing Persona, or Alter(ed) EGGo, has become a hemi-semi-demi official Spokescreature for the Depot, deftly combining her life-long passions for crafting, storytelling, performing, delight in making something out of nothing, ecological/Eggcological bent, reuse, recycling and resource sharing. (with a side order of Trash Transformation" all over the Bay Area (Sacramento to Milpitas) and further afield, appearing at libraries, festivals, farmers markets, Science Fiction Conventions, EGGScetera.
