THE KING OF FLING CONTEST RETURNS TO THE AUSTIN MAKER FAIRE

GET YOUR CATAPULTS READY THE COMPETITION IS ON!

WHAT: King of Fling Catapult Contest
Anyone can enter! All you have to do is build a real, working catapult. Yes, a catapult. The hurling machine can be as elaborate or simple as you like and other than the materials required to construct, it's free. The Maker that builds the catapult that most accurately smashes a Bozo Bop Bag with a water balloon will be named the King of Fling.

King of Fling Catapult Contest will begin at 12:30PM
WHY: To Be Named the King of Fling Of Course!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: It's easy and free. Complete the contest entry form online at http://makerfaire.com/kingoffling/. Then, show up with your catapult and a copy of your completed entry form on Saturday morning and be ready to shoot. Participants must provide their own materials. The number of slots on the catapult range is limited, so you must register early.
