Shakespeare in concert. Bard Rock reappropriates the conventions of Renaissance theater to create a show that is fun and accessible for all ages. Think of us as modern traveling minstrels.


Batterie-en-Valise: music for two percussionists and five suitcases

Performer

Part found-object sound sculpture, part new music performance, and part interactive conversation about human relationships with objects. A set of vintage suitcases mount dangling curiosities & repurposed harmonic assemblages.


Burnkit2600

Performer

Burnkit2600 have been experimenting with electronics and carving their own musical niche since 1997. Elements of circuit-bending, analog wizardry and chip music combine to make a one of a kind mix.


Costumed Actor Combustion Unit

CACU, "Costumed Actor Combustion Unit" is a costume lighting and mechatronic controller. It was created for the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (B.R.O.S) to sync stage lighting, effects, and music.


Destroyed Monster

Destroyed Monster is a theater piece based on a Japanese Noh play, mediated through sets and costumes made of automotive waste and a dumpster-sourced speech activated control system, as well as a how-to exhibit.


Fashionistas: Students creating and constructing!

Fashionistas from The High School of Fashion Industries will model their colorful, artistic fashion creations that were created at a NYC Career and Technical Education public high school in Chelsea.

Terry Dame aka ElectronGong performs original groove driven music on invented instruments made from recycled objects. This year's performance will feature the "Horn of Plenty Sounds", an interactive musical sound sculpture.
