Autodesk 123D is free software integrated with content and fabrication services. At Maker Faire NY Autodesk will be hosting a hands on makerspace where participants can have hands on experiences with our free apps and 3d printers. We also will be hosting an educational hack-a-thon where educators will be answering the question ""How do you use a 3D printer in your classroom?

A Milwaukee startup focusing on Solar USB Power. We ran a wildly successful Kickstart for our Folding USB Solar Cells. At our booth we'll be showing off our solar USB charging solutions and setups. We believe that our solar cells are the perfect item for campers, hikers, and emergency preparedness.



FlowX26 is a life-size version of the mobile app Flow Free. Instead of connecting circles using your finger, people will be walking on tiles that will light up. The game board is an interactive platform that reacts to steps.

Orbital Rendersphere


The Orbital Rendersphere is a massive spherical display. Over 250 LED's spin at over 450 RPM to suspend planets, games, and visuals in midair.



Popcade is a 50% scale MAME cabinet. Unique to this machine is an LCD panel for the marquee area. This allows the marquee graphic to change from game-to-game.

Purina ONE


Visitors to the Purina ONE booth at Maker Faire will have the opportunity to create and invent their own do-it-yourself (DIY) puzzle feeder projects to help enrich the feeding experiences of their cats; gather inspiration from the DIY wall u2013 a gallery of projects created from Purina ONE's cat community; and interact with a fun and shareable area at the booth. What you feed your cat is just as important as HOW you feed your cat. Cats are designed to hunt for their food, and while domestic cats have it much easier they still benefit from the stimulation that comes from the hunt. Incorporating a puzzle feeder in addition to a bowl encourages your cat to work for her food, stimulating her mind and body and helping her live her True Nature.

Video Game Plushies: How-To Generate Sewing Patterns from 3D Models


Want to make plushies of certain video game characters?nHave no pattern drafting experience?nnFear not!
Using a series of tools and scripts, it is possible to algorithmically generate the sewing patterns for your plushie. Starting with a in-game 3D model of the character, there are a variety of industry tools that can be manipulated to flatten the model, into a series of 2D shells. Using a bit code, those 2D shells can be transformed into viable sewing patterns
