We were the first walk-in retail 3D printer store and hackerspace on the west coast providing 3D printers, 3D printing services, classes and 3D printing supplies to the Los Angeles area.

From WikiHouse to WikiFactory

In 2011 we launched WikiHouse - an open source construction system that aims to make it possible for anyone to download, CNC-cut & assemble their own house. WikiHouse is now a growing community for digitally fabbed housing with teams in New Zealand, France, Brazil, the US & the UK. In 2012-13 we followed WikiHouse with OpenDesk - open source design furniture made locally. OpenDesk connects digital designs with a network of fabricators able to make on demand, in response to local orders. We are now building Fabbed.com - a full platform for distributed making of design products. We're looking for designers & makers who share our vision.

Purina ONE

Visitors to the Purina ONE booth at Maker Faire will have the opportunity to create and invent their own do-it-yourself (DIY) puzzle feeder projects to help enrich the feeding experiences of their cats; gather inspiration from the DIY wall u2013 a gallery of projects created from Purina ONE's cat community; and interact with a fun and shareable area at the booth. What you feed your cat is just as important as HOW you feed your cat. Cats are designed to hunt for their food, and while domestic cats have it much easier they still benefit from the stimulation that comes from the hunt. Incorporating a puzzle feeder in addition to a bowl encourages your cat to work for her food, stimulating her mind and body and helping her live her True Nature.

UDOO

UDOO is a joint effort of SECO USA Inc. (www.seco.com ) and Aidilab (www.aidilab.com), in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of researchers with expertise in interaction design, embedded electronics, sensor networks and cognitive science, who along the years have worked together in several projects sharing the same vision about the role of technology in human life, and are now spread between Europe and United States.

UDOO merges different computing worlds in one; each world has its strengths and weaknesses, and all of them are useful today in education as well as Do-It-Yourself (DIY) and rapid prototyping endeavours.
UDOO is an open hardware low-cost single-board Android/Linux ARM computer with Arduino-compatible integration.
