The Window Lady
Janay Rose aka ''The window lady'' sews elaborate garments and accessories, using all recycled materials. All her items one of a kind, and unique using a wide variety of materials and inspiration.
Jaco, aka ''drift stitcher'' creates hats that look like they came from some forgotten era that never happened. He is self trained and uses old fabrics on an older treadle sewing machine.
Born in Thailand and raised with a punk rock ethos and DIY mentality, Henry Miyoshi creates deconstructed, highly detailed garments layered withimages, and patches proudly self made in west Oakland.
Jessy Brown creates beautiful, elegant, rustic, creative jewelry and artwork. She has co designed the midway traveling show and Peralta junction project in west Oakland.
Black Heart Industries
Gustavo of Black Heart Industries makes inventive unique recycled bags and other leather goods. His designs have a utilitarian old fashion, yet modern vibe.
