Patrik D'haeseleer is community projects coordinator at BioCurious, a Bay Area hackerspace for biotech. He also works at Lawrence Livermore National Lab in California, where he is starting up a research group in computational biology / systems biology. He has two separate degrees in Electrical Engineering in Belgium, an MS in Computer Science at Stanford, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of New Mexico.
