Sonya Philip is a fiber artist with a background in creative writing. She enjoys mixing different mediums and her work resides in the area where craft and art intersect. Her current project, 100 Acts of Sewing, explores making versus manufacturing. She is in the process of sewing one hundred dresses and teaches workshops throughout the country in an effort to re-connect people with garment making.
