Nathaniel Dsouza
Nathaniel Dsouza, 14, is a homeschooled Maker & avid technology buff. He built his first website at 6, won an FLL Robotics award at 9, mentored a robotics team (16-year-olds) at 10, won Maker Faire 2014 -‘Best in Class’ at 11 and founded KidzIdeaz at 12. Nathaniel plays the piano and recorded his first composition at 8. He believes that given a chance, kids can make a huge difference in the world

I built a professional app using MeteorJS. I enjoyed building it so much that I wanted to share my experience with other kids and so I founded KidzIdeazTECH. At KidzIdeazTECH, students learn modern technologies- JS, HTML, CSS, and MongoDB, etc and they start building professional apps immediately.
What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
I watched my Dad using a cutting-edge technology to rapidly build professional applications. After building an app myself, I realized this was a great way for kids to learn coding. I started KidzIdeazTECH and created a really fun experience for kids to learn to code. I did not want kids to be using non-professional tools such as Scratch and so my kids only using professional technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and MongoDB. Kids used this to build professional apps in a couple of months.
