Kim Holleman is a NY-based interdisciplinary artist who combines art, architecture and nature. Kim was a Visiting Scholar and Research Affiliate at The MIT Media Lab at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2013-2017)
Trailer Parklet is a living mobile public park with trees flowers grasses and a mini pond, all living inside a 12' x 6' x 7' V-Nose construction trailer. This is a sportier more agile mobile public park, the second in a series of mobile parks.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I wanted to move more nature into the city and on top of asphalt at any time, without disrupting the system as it is now. The trailer is "street legal" so you can "park" anywhere!
