RFiClimb

RFiClimb

RFID cards on a rock wall interact with readers on the climber wrists and send data via Bluetooth to an Arduino. Over 1500 lines of code display live information about the climber on our DIY scoreboard and flawlessly blend climbing and tech.

What inspired you to make this project?:
We decided to make "RFiClimb" to continue the tradition of creating something based on one of our maker's hobbies. Last year we built an "Electric Saxophone," because Jonathan plays the saxophone and this year we made "RFiClimb" because of Ben's rock climbing hobby.
