Ricky Zhang is a Grade 9 student of West Point Grey Academy Canada. He considers himself as an engineer. He have been building robots ever since he could remember and still love it to this day. Making robots and programming is his greatest passion.
The drawing robot is controlled by coordinates (x and y) entered by the user. The robot uses a display to visualize the line for the user. The robot keeps track if its current position and it shows it on display.
What inspired you to make this project?:
When my math teacher was drawing a slope on the whiteboard, the class complained about the accuracy of the slope that he was drawing. I thought to myself that I could make a drawing robot to solve this accuracy problem. A robot that uses math and angles to determine the line.
