Brent has 23 years experience in 3D graphics, animation , simulation and AI with companies like Bioware, Electronic Arts, LucasFilm, and NVIDIA. He grew up as a maker, cutting, drilling and bolting things together from an early age.
Miku is an artificially intelligent 4'6" tall hologram that you can talk to and interact with. She is a sophisticated voice chatbot, whose 3D model is rendered and back projected onto a transparent Dilad screen, making it look like she is in thin air
What inspired you to make this project?:
I wanted to learn more about artificial intelligence (chatbots in particular). I thought that combining one with 3D graphics would be fun. Then I kind of got out of control and built the 4'6" holographic AI and had her host an elaborate, technology-rich party that used 5 computers and 4 projecters to do dazzling visuals throughout the house. About 40-50 people attended and it was a smash! Hey, what is a chatbot to do without a job?
