An electric powered lay on your belly electric go-cart that originally was built for Burningman. At first it was powered by a lithium-ion battery, and now uses a 250 Watt solar panel. (charging the batteries on the desert was a chore)
What inspired you to make this project?:
I simply thought, wouldn't it be cool to fly inches off the desert surface like superman. Then I built such a vehicle.
For the robot boat I read about a race across the Atlantic for autonomous boats, (http://www.microtransat.org/) and wanted to build something similar. Also I saw other groups building similar boats at previous Maker Faires.
