The Bay Area R2 Builders are an eclectic group of individuals that have taken their love for their favorite droid to a whole new level. They are "Star Wars" fans who have built full size, fully functional R2-D2s and BB-8s.
The Bay Area R2 Builders is a group of hackers, makers, builders and above all, Star Wars fans who have built full size, fully functional R2-D2s. They bring their droids to the Maker Faire to share with makers, geeks, kids and fans.
