I am a 12 year old homeschooler who can be found making audio amplifiers, musical instruments, and coding in my free time. I am also an avid swimmer, and I love math and Latin. I also love doing CGI and animating in Blender. I live in CA.
The Paper Plate Drum Kit is a full drum set made of household materials. It is easy to build yet extremely versatile. The drum heads are made of paper plates and the microcontroller is a Raspberry Pi Zero running Scratch or Python.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I saw an advertisement for Roland V-Drums and I thought I could make a drum set out of common materials that worked nearly as well for a fraction of the price.
