What inspired you to make this project?:
I have been planning for a long time to make this project. There is a huge community of people who grow stuff in DIY 'space buckets' (https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceBuckets/). Currently the DIY space bucket builds have people buying computer fans and soldering wires together. I was able to build my own prototype with parts from the hardware store that I could just plug into each other. I'd like to assemble family friendly kits so that people can grow food in their homes, and learn about food production processes. Lastly, I found out that many businesses throw out buckets which can be repurposed for this project. I got some buckets for free from a local donut shop, because the donut creme filling comes in buckets that are normally thrown away.
