Tavia Sanza has a degree in sculpture giving her a unique perspective on jewelry. Her work is meticulously hand crafted using a free-form style of wire wrapping that creates an organic look and causes each piece to have a unique fingerprint.

What inspired you to make this project?:
Making things gives me a sense of stability and control. It is a way to transform any anxiety or negative feelings into something that adds beauty to the world. I have always made things. I doubt I will ever stop making things ;)
This particular style of wire wrapping is an extension of my art practice which involves fluid thinking and intuition. Flaws and mistakes are not viewed as detrimental only an obstacle to work around. Those "flaws" then become part of what gives each piece a unique finger print. This process creates some really stunning organic looking jewelry. For me personally it is a reminder that flaws are part of life and being able to accept and work with mistakes is a useful skill.
