I have always been inspired by my father whose self-proclaimed job title is "Inventor". I worked with my father for years on different projects and now my family and I bring them to Maker Faires to show, inspire, and educate people about electronics.
With the ESP8266, so much is possible. From controllable cars to lighting systems, the ESP module is made for everyone at an affordable price. It connects to wifi signals for a strong connection to your cellphone or laptop.
What inspired you to make this project?:
My family and I are always playing around with different modules, and recently it's been the ESP8266. We needed a way to control the lights in our house remotely and we did that successfully using the module.
We also wanted to make something fun, so a few years ago we made the wifi cars and we have brought them along with us ever since.
