Jennifer is a Montessorian, who taught at the elementary and middle school level. Wanting to understand more about learning, she returned to grad school for a PhD in Free Choice Learning (because, really- what a cool PhD!), where she discovered the Maker movement. Since then, she has enjoyed learning more about new types of experiential learning and hopes to help in the revisioning of learning.
This presentation will share research findings from a study on how an after school Making activity impacted STEM identity in early adolescents.
