Do you love to play? Then come build a zipline racer, play with a foam 3d printer and challenge yourself in our American Ninja Warrior for the maker mindset.
What inspired you to make this project?:
This idea was a culmination of our continued effort to share what we do. With the creation of our STEAM Council and continued mission to share outside our local community. We felt that Maker Faire was the next step since we could expose tens of thousands of people to our philosophy of PLAY to PASSION to PURPOSE and our own internal definition of what STEAM is. Our students make and create on a daily basis but we felt that it would be better to create an interactive space hence "THE PLAYGROUND" instead of just sharing what projects we have done. The idea has been a long time coming and everyone is excited to bring it to Maker Faire.
