Colin Angevine is Director of STEAM Education and Computer Science teacher at Friends' Central School in Wynnewood, PA. Headlining this presentation are a group of his students: high school juniors and seniors whose imaginative, heartfelt work is an inspiring glimpse at what a new generation of makers might do.
We are students challenging the idea that technology does more to separate us than bring us together. Through crafts and technology, we connect by transforming subtle, unique things about ourselves -- our voices, our DNA, our messages to each other -- into functional, beautiful and shareable items.
