What inspired you to make this project?:
My project Orbis inspired the Dr.Duino shield. While I was making Orbis I realized that while writing Arduino firmware is easy integrating stacks upon stacks of hardware was not. So I set out to solve this problem with a unique debugging shield. It was been embraced by the maker community and has been featured in EETimes several times. I have also been a speaker at ESC boston/Silicon valley for both items.
