I’m an indie-designer, creating Upcycled Steampunk Clothing using no new fabrics. For 15 years, Burning Man has influenced my creativity, integrity and self-reliance. I am local to the East Bay and North Tahoe.
Upcycled Urban Steampunk clothing and accessories for men, women and children, made from upcycled fabrics. Functional-vintage style with an industrial edge, intended for everyday, Burning Man, dress-up and play-time.
What inspired you to make this project?:
Steampunk art and clothing at Burning Man has inspired me in recent years, particularly Obtainium Works here in Vallejo. My 13 years at Burning Man has taught me how to make what you need or want, with what you have. There is so much used fabrics on the planet, so I don't buy new fabrics. I strive for funky plus function.. Funktional, something else I've learned on the playa.
