This turntable is filled with water and very fine crystals which show fluid motion. When you spin the turntable by hand, the water is stirred, and the resulting turbulent patterns are shown by the crystals. Learn how to make your own turntable here.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I saw a really nice demonstration of fluid motion at a science museum, and thought it would be great to make my own, and share how I did it.
