Cere is a multi-faceted artist, engineer, dancer and community organizer based in Berkeley, Ca. Her work focuses on utilizing passive transduction to alter material relationships which shift the conventional scale of small acoustic events.
Dan Gran
Acoustic sculpture that explores the acoustic behavior of steel springs in motion. This sculpture uses piezoelectric transduction to demonstrates how small subtle mechanical movements can produce unexpectedly large and delightfully surprising sounds

General curiousity about how sound behaves and is percieved in materials rather than through air.
