Sphero

Exhibit

As the industry leader in Connected Play, we are defining the future of fun. Founded by Ian Bernstein and Adam Wilson, passionate robotics and software engineers, we create connected toys, fusing emerging technology with the latest innovations in robotics. Unlike traditional toys, our robots and software allow us to create ever-evolving experiences u2013 changing the way people play, learn and explore. Based in Boulder, Colorado, the Sphero team takes fun very seriously. We have found that people learn about Sphero best when they get to play with it. So we have developed an event track (can vary in size but is optimal at 6' x 18') that allows for up to 6 different people to drive and play with Sphero at the same time. In the track are certain obstacles and jumps that add to the challenge. We bring with us a branded backdrop that is 8' x 20' to fit behind the track, and a TV monitor with video of Sphero and Ollie in action. In addition to the driving experience, we sometimes do on-site giveaways and live demonstrations.

Shapeways

Exhibit

We will be hosting a meetup at TechShop with Autodesk, FormLabs and Occipital, open to all 3D printing enthusiasts!

Metasphere

Exhibit

Metasphere is a platform that connects hardware and software interfaces for developers of any skill level, from beginner to enterprise. Metasphere addresses the lack of flexible communication between hardware and software with instant plug and go connections in few lines of ready-made code. Metasphere brings higher level programming languages and powerful features to low level hardware, shortening the length of time and effort required to engineer new ideas from prototyping to product. We will be demonstrating the metasphere platform with one of our projects, a motorcycle remote started using an Arduino and a smart phone. The project includes a riding jacket with wearable LED's that sync with the motorcycle's turn signals and break lights. The project will highlight metasphere's realtime data capture taking statistics from the motorcycle including geospatial data, gauge outputs, and more.

AIO Robotics

Exhibit

AIO Robotics developed the world's first All-In-One 3D Printer ZEUS. This device can scan, print, copy, and fax 3D objects with just the touch of a button. Very intuitive. ZEUS comes ready out of the box. Setup time less than 10 min.

LIQUID WRENCH

Exhibit

Liquid Wrench celebrates makerspaces! Come check out the folks from the Milwaukee Makerspace from Milwaukee, WI and Pumping Station: One from Chicago, IL.

Carbide Labs

Exhibit

Carbide Labs is working to make modern electronics design accessible to everyone. We'll be demonstrating the Pick 'n Paste: a low-cost desktop circuit board assembly tool. The Pick 'n Paste enables circuit design with components both smaller and more powerful than those used in typical breadboard designs. We'll be running the prototype and discussing ways the system can help your next project! Feel free to stop by!
