Toyota Activities at World Maker Faire
World Maker Faire is very pleased to welcome back Toyota as a Goldsmith Sponsor. Toyota will host several exciting opportunities for Faire attendees to get hands-on with Toyota, including:

u2022 Power Racing Series—Attendees can watch teams from around the country compete in this nationwide circuit in their self-created electric vehicles as their race on unique full-size tracks.

u2022 Prius Plug-in Hybrid Derby—Mini Prius Plug-in Hybrids will be available for attendees to race on a special electric slot car track in Toyota's exhibit.

u2022 Vehicle Demonstration—The full-size Prius Plug-in Hybrid will be on hand for Faire goers to learn all about the most efficient Prius yet. In addition, Toyota will also be showcasing the "U2" Urban Utility concept by Calty Design Research.

u2022 Charging Stations in Toyota Exhibit—Attendees can enjoy recharging their devices while at the event utilizing power stations inside Toyota's exhibit.

dS is a unique project that's part video game, part art installation, part musical instrument, and part immersive science visualization. It brings together scientists and artists who are motivated by a desire to reveal and interpret our connection to the beautiful and subtle microscopic world. And it gives audience members the opportunity to see their own energy field, and use it to dance, sculpt, and play with a simulation of the otherwise invisible atomic world. It is used in public art galleries, schools, and festivals to make serious science seriously fun!
