Crowne Plaza is the official Maker Faire hotel.
Reservations: Make reservations online at Online reservations. The discounted rate is already loaded in (no code needs to be entered), and you just need to enter the date under "Search for Hotel Rooms" on the left hand side to get the discounted rate.
If you prefer to call, please call 1-888-233-9527 (not the hotel direct number), and make sure to mention the group name "Maker Faire" in order to get the discounted rate.
The room rate for Maker Faire is $105 for Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun nights. Please note, the rate for Mon, Tues and Wed nights is $145.
Early booking is strongly recommended, as availability is limited and the deadline for this rate is May 6th.
Parking: The hotel offers complimentary parking spaces.
Hotel Shuttle: The Crowne Plaza offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the San Francisco Airport. The shuttle leaves the hotel every hour on the hour starting from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Guest arriving from the San Francisco Airport can call the hotel directly (650-570-5700) for pick up anytime between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

The room rate for Maker Faire is $109 for Thursday through Saturday nights. This rate inlcudes 50% off self parking. Ten minutes from San Francisco International Airport offering hourly complimentary shuttle service. Complimentary Self-Parking for overnight attendees. Please mention that the room block is for Maker Faire Bay Area 2012.
Cut-off for the reduced rate is 6pm on Tuesday, April 24th.
The Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo is an alternate hotel option, located 6 miles south of the San Francisco International Airport with a complimentary airport shuttle to the hotel. Each guest room has complimentary high-speed internet access.
The Group Code for discounted pricing is MF12. The cut-off date for the $105 per night for King and $125 per night for Double bed rates for Thursday through Sunday will be May 3, 2012.
